With daylight saving from Sunday 28th September the snow will soften an hour later than usual during the holidays. Why not take a few days off and come live in the snow around 1800m?

With so much snow falling during the week and the mountain road closed for THREE days in a row the Mid Winter Christmas party (Aug 16th) was moved to our National Park lodge. About 20 people enjoyed a festive meal. When the mountain finally opens the skiing is going to be fantastic! Grant and crew made it to the mountain lodge on Sunday 17th Aug through snow waist deep in places. They arrived to find the lodge completely buried. A groomer helped clear snow from the front door but it´s still deep.

We are all systems go. Grant is our president and our custodian in the mountain lodge. There is plenty of accommodation available. Definitely the place to be if staying more than one night! Ski in to the lodge. Ski out to the top o the Bruce! Contact Grant 027 698 2466 if you want directions or help getting there.
