Downhill Ski Club

Work Completed 2001

At the Whakapapa lodge we fixed a diesel pipe and painted the french doors in DoC grey.

At National Park we started to replace the few squeaky bunks with wooden ones.

We changed the store room into a lounge, moving the freezer into the workshop area. Then we moved the window from the workshop into the new lounge.

We made a bark garden under the sign.

Dave Simpson made a door opening with a chainsaw into the woodshed from the workshop. Grant McTavish made a door for it.

By far the biggest task was the revamping of the lounge. Removing the French doors, windows, wooden seats and wall between the lounge and conservatory.

The finished product, except for light fittings and varnish.
